JIM BECKER (u/s Earl, Ensemble) comes from New York City but hales from Strongsville. National tours: Big River, Barry Manilow’s Copacabanna. Other credits: New York City Opera, Disney Cruise Line, Dance Captain; Carousel, Carnival Boy and performing with Reba McIntire. Love and thanks to Bob, Sue, Leslie, Nick and Heidi. This one’s for my dad.

 

LA DONNA BURNS* (Sylvia) is thrilled to be returning to Carousel after appearing in Beehive! National tours: Seussical, Sour Kangaroo,and Rent, Seasons of Love Soloist. Other credits: Grease, Teen Angel; Smokey Joe’s Café, BJ and Ain’t Misbehavin, Armelia. Thanks to God and my family for their continued support. Thanks Donna! ANDREW CAO* (u/s Chad, Ensemble) has performed in Annie Get Your Gun, Tommy Keeler and West Side Story, Chino (The Pittsburgh CLO); West Side Story 50th Anniversary Tour, Tony U/S; Kiss Me Kate, Paul (Orlando Shakes); Romeo & Juliet, Romeo and Midsummer…, Puck (The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey).

 

LINDSAY NICOLE CHAMBERS* (Natalie) is excited to be near home for the holidays AND be a part of this awesome show! Broadway: Legally Blonde, u/s Serena and Enid; Hairspray, u/s Penny. WHITNEY CRITES (Ensemble) recently toured with Kidz Bop Live and Pajama Party. Television credits include: Bluedles in Sheira, Loli's Ditty Doodle Works and One Life to Live. When she is not performing, Whitney teaches choreography and master classes around the nation with EV3: Evolution Dance Workshops. She would like to thank Mom, Dad, Cody and Brian for all their love and support.

 

KELECHI EZIE (u/s Sylvia and Lorraine, Ensemble) hails from Buffalo, N.Y. and is a recent graduate of Princeton University. Favorite roles include Carousel, Julie and Fences, Rose. Recently Kelechi has worked with New Kids on the Block on their comeback tour. She is happy to join the cast at Carousel Dinner Theatre and looks forward to Christmas in Ohio. MICHAEL FIELDER* (Ensemble) is delighted to make his debut here at the Carousel. Some of his stage credits include Swing! (Chanhassen DT), Mambo Kings The Musical, Carnival (Papermill Playhouse) and Samson and Delilah (Metropolitan Opera). Film credits include El Cantante with Marc Anthony and Walt Disney’s Enchanted. PAUL FLORIANO* (Jim Haller) returns to Carousel having been seen in Footloose and Sound Of Music. Previous credits include We Gotta Bingo!; Tony ‘n Tina; Love, Janis; and Shear Madness (PlayhouseSquare). Paul has appeared at Lincoln Center in New York, and was in the national tour of Tomfoolery. Paul is a proud, 29-year member of Actor’s Equity.

 

GREGG GOODBROD* (Chad) was just seen as Lancelot in Camelot, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Radames in Aida, The Baron in Grand Hotel, Chris in Miss Saigon, Marius in the regional premiere of Les Miserables, The Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden. In New York, the original cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie on Broadway. www.greggster.com

 

FRANK JACKMAN* (Sheriff Earl, u/s Jim Haller, Ensemble) is excited to return to the Carousel stage. He has been in Jekyll and Hyde, Fiddler on the Roof and several other Carousel shows. Frank has done many commercials and industrial films for companies such as Greyhound, Moen, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Time Warner. Check the store shelves soon for his humorous American Greetings dancing motion card.

 

KAITLYN JOHNSON (u/s Matilda, Ensemble) Kaitlyn is thrilled to be making her Carousel Theatre debut. Favorite previous roles include Tammy in Hairspray, Minnie in West Side Story, Showgirl in The Producers, LuLu in Cabaret and Eurydice in Metamorphoses. She would also like to thank all her friends and family for their love and support. XOXO

 

JAMI KECK (u/s Dennis, Ensemble) is happy to return to the Carousel after appearing in Damn Yankees. He most recently appeared in Oklahoma! (Fulton Opera). He has appeared regionally in Cats, Admetus; Fiddler..., Motel; Godspell, Jeffrey; Swing!, West Coast and many others. Thank you and happy holidays to my wonderful family, crazy friends, amazing cast of ASU and to everyone at Carousel.

 

MITCH MCCARRELL* (Dean Hyde) is thrilled to be home! Student of BW’s Conservatory of Music, Mitch has appeared regionally in Hello Dolly!, Barnaby; Forever Plaid, Jinx; Hair, Claude; Songs for a New World, Man 1; Bat Boy, Bud/Daisy/Pan and most recently he worked with Julie Andrews on her new musical Simeon’s Gift. Thanks to Ohio family, N.Y. family, CP, Vicky and Luedtke.

 

HALLIE METCALF (u/s Miss Sandra, Ensemble) is delighted to be back for her third production at Carousel, doing one of her favorite shows. Other credits included Contact (North Shore Music Theatre); The Music Man (The Bushnells 50th Anniversary Production). JAKE PFARR * (u/s Dean, Ensemble) originally from Ohio, is grateful to make his Carousel debut! Regional: Contact, Aristocrat (NSMT); Music Man, Tommy (Stages); The Full Monty, Keno (Northern Stage); Meet Me in St. Louis, u/s Lon (Paper Mill); Cats, Mungojerrie (PCLO). JASON ROSOFF (Dennis) just closed a production of I Love You, You’re Perfect..., Man #1 (Seven Angels Theatre). Hobbies: Olympic dead lifting and driving through EZ pass lanes. LINDSAY RYAN (Miss Sandra) is all shook up about her Carousel debut! Favorite theater credits: Baby, Lizzie; How I Learned to Drive, Lil’ Bit; The Shoe, Cinderella. TV/Film: Guiding Light, Full Grown Men. She holds a musical theatre BFA from University of Miami. Thanks so much AC and TW. Love to my supportive family, friends and Matty!

 

KIM SAVA* (u/s Natalie, Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Carousel debut! Most recently she was seen in All Shook Up, Jesus Christ Superstar and Producers (Maine State Music Theater). Other credits include: A Christmas Carol (NSMT); White Christmas, Judy (DDP); West Side Story, Maria (Frost Fire) and as the lead headliner for Princess Cruises. Thanks to Donna, Rhonda and Sean!   RHONDA MILLER (Choreographer) is thrilled to be choreographing for the first time at Carousel Dinner Theatre. Most recently she choreographed All Shook Up at Maine State Music Theatre, directed by Donna Drake, receiving rave reviews. Other credits include ABC Daytime Salutes BCEFA starring Kimberly Mc-Cullough of General Hospital, Have A Nice Life starring Emily Skinner and Common Grounds for which the unique concept of a five choreographer team won the NYMF Outstanding Direction/  Choreography Award. She is honored to have choreographed Nothing Like A Dame at the Marquis Theater in New York; Conceive, Direct and Choreograph Cinematastic for Princess Cruise Lines, and choreograph for Margaret Cho’s directorial debut film, Bam Bam and Celeste. Thank you to Donna and Sean.

SEAN CERCONE (Artistic Director) is in his fifth season as the artistic director at the Carousel. Cercone began his theatre career as the founding artistic director of the West Virginia Shakespeare Festival. While at Carousel, Cercone has been responsible  for the development of a New Works program and the creation of Carousel’s Signature Series, which consists of one main stage production per year that is created through environmental style. An enthusiastic member of NAMT, Cercone has been the co-chair of the festival selection committee and was selected as one of Crain’s Business 40 Under 40 Top Executives of 2004. Directing credits include Hot L Baltimore, Tape, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Brick and the Rose, The House of Yes, Pump Boys and  Dinnettes, Swing! and development of a new musical Cumberland Blues, written by Drama Logue-winner Michael Norman Mann and music by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead. Cercone received his Master of Fine Arts from West Virginia University. He has worked as a guest artist for the Cleveland Shakespeare  Festival and American College Dance Festival, served as the board president for the Cleveland Theatre Collective and is currently a proud board member of the National Alliance of Musical Theatre.

 

ROBERT ANDRE KOVACH (Scenic Designer) is thrilled to be designing his 18th production for the Carousel Dinner Theatre. Carousel favorites include Cats, Sound of Music, West Side Story, The Odd Couple and White Christmas. Regional favorites  include Peter Pan (Walnut Street Theatre), South Pacific (MSMT) and Crazy for You (Phoenix Theatre). Chicago favorites include Always…Patsy Cline, Day in Hollywood, The Most Happy Fella, Kiss Me, Kate and Suessical. Robert has created corporate designs for GM, Cadillac, BellSouth, LaSalle Bank ABN AMRO, Morgan Stanley, MTV’s “Real World” and ConAgra Foods. A special thanks to Joe, Sean and David for letting me join their family.

STEVE PARSONS (Musical Director) Steve is in his fourth year as the resident musical director at the Carousel Dinner Theatre after serving 10 years in the same capacity at The Players Guild Theatre. Other credits include The Ohio Shakespeare Company, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and productions in New York. Additionally, he provided new arrangements and orchestrations for Dean Pitchford’s official revised version of Footloose, created new versions of the Nunsense scores for creator Dan Goggin, wrote original music for the hit video game “College Slam,” and performed in the Tickestra for the FOX animated TV series “The Tick.” Steve was also the arranger for the Grateful Dead musical Cumberland Blues, which was recently performed at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. An active composer and orchestrator as well as a member of ASCAP, Steve has a Bachelors and Masters in composition and numerous published symphonic pieces and choral works. He is also orchestrating the regional musical It’s a Wonderful Life and is a consultant and contributor to the upcoming biography of legendary songwriter Stephen Schwartz.

 

DALE DIBERNARDO (Resident Costume Designer) has costumed for theater, opera and television for the past 18 years. Her credits include Lizzie Borden at Goodspeed, Stop the World I Want To Get Off for Clairol Broadway Series, “The President” for PBS, O’henry’s Lovers at American Stage as well as the premiers of Another Summer, Crash Club and Will’s Women at Cherry County Playhouse as well as 13 years designing for Woodloch Pines Resort’s theme shows. A former New Yorker, she now makes her home in Akron.

 

MICHAEL STEIN* (Stage Manager) Michael served as the stage manager for 26 years for the Carousel before taking on the role of production manager for several years and has now returned to stage manager. Michael’s career at the Carousel has taken him from the days of the “in-the-round” theater in Ravenna, Ohio to the current “state of the art” proscenium stage. Other theater experience includes Long Beach Civic Light Opera; The Freedman Forum of Anaheim, Calif.; Center Civic Repertory of Cleveland; The Kenley Players in Warren, Ohio and Macy’s Parade Day Studio. Michael is the proud grandfather of 4: Alexis, Taylor, Zion and Chance. As always love to Carlie for her support.
